While the season is well past its peak, we’re still getting the odd call for wasps, usually in attics and other locations that are generally fairly warm. Most nests in sheds, outbuildings and other cooler spots are now abandoned. Today’s nest – in an attic – had a steady stream of workers flying in and out, even in the rather chilly 8oC drizzle we had today.
