One of our key responsibilities at Pestend is to secure public health. We are well aware of the risks Coronavirus (Covid-2019) presents and, as such, we are suspending non-critical site visits until the situation improves and Government advice permits such work.
However, we will respond to cases where there is a clear requirement to maintain or safeguard public health providing we can do so safely and while following Government guidance on public distancing, etc. This may mean certain problems cannot safely be addressed; each will be assessed on their specific needs and complexities.
This advice is in a state of flux and we are monitoring the briefings daily and have lines of communication with the body that represents Pest Controllers in the UK. Be assured, our position will always reflect Government’s best practice and rules.
We do not – and will not – offer any form of Covid-19 disinfection or prevention treatments. Such highly specialised work needs companies with a proven track record in dealing with pathogens in the field and is beyond our scope of operations.
